Partners in Management
Is a Chartered Management Institute approved management and leadership development organisation based at the Media Centre in Huddersfield – West Yorkshire, the epicentre of the Northern Powerhouse. As such, we are also ideally placed to support participants and organisations across the region from Liverpool to Hull, Manchester to Newcastle or Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield and York. Corporate programmes are also available nationally.
Founded in 1999, by David Broadhead, an academic entrepreneur with senior management industrial experience, we specialise in designing and facilitating accredited, innovative, cost and time effective development programmes that add real value to participants and organisations.
Our innovative short courses inspire the development of the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to deliver personal and organisational success in the 21st century. As a nation we desperately need to improve productivity and to do so we need to develop our leadership and management skills and develop intrapreneurs. This is the ultimate combination of being an entrepreneur, leader and manager. We have been advocating the concept of intrapreneurship since 2009 and as such we believe we are the UK’s leading provider in this field.
Our open-access courses are delivered to small mixed groups over full days (usually two days per month), to participants from all industries and sectors. Throughout, our highly experienced course tutors facilitate open lively debate and discussion using an action learning approach. In this way everyone benefits from each other’s experiences and interpretations of both well-proven and leading edge management theories and actual practice.
Whether a highly experienced, practically skilled senior leader, an aspirational middle manager, an owner manager looking to grow themselves and their business or a professional knowledge worker leading diverse teams, our 21st Century Leaders suite of courses is highly recommended.
If you think developing management skills is a pointless exercise, have a read of our Yorkshire Powerhouse blog article for an alternate view.
